Since December 2023, he has held the position of cabinet minister overseeing the Industry & Commerce, Youth Affairs & Sports Department in the Government of Rajasthan. Notably, Rathore is an alumnus of the NCC and has achieved significant success in both his military and athletic endeavors. He secured a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the Men’s Double Trap event and has earned a total of 25 international medals.
